Originally graduated from Fudan University Medical School and practiced as an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon for almost 8 years . She has completed a Master degree in Vision Science (M.Sc.) at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry where her thesis was on Age Related Macular Degeneration ( ARMD ).  She is a licensed Optometrist in Ontario. She has extensive experience in  ophthalmological  examination and management of patients of all ages with primary care and special needs in vision care
